Wavemakers are people determined to make a difference in the world. We're calling everyone out there who wants to make an impact, to help people, and to make the world the better place to join forces and put their heads together to end the water crisis. By ourselves we can make small ripples, but together? Together we're stronger. Together we can make waves. 

In 2021 we launched a new fundraising campaign for Panama. There are dozens of indigenous communities in the Darien region and others in “collective” lands that have asked us to work with them. Colectiva, or collectively, is how we’re going to come alongside them to ensure water continues to flow for families who need it. Our plan to address the global water crisis is to work alongside communities to repair existing water systems, implement new water systems, and to build capacity in local communities through a variety of long term programs, including:

• System mapping using drone imagery

• Water committee development

• Access point remote monitoring, ongoing maintenance, infrastructure upgrades as needed
